Security forces hits Lashkar top commander Chhota Sultan killed in Baramulla encounter

In Jammu and Kashmir, an encounter between security forces and militants is going on in Salosa area of Baramulla. Security forces have gunned down a terrorist. The slain terrorist has been identified as the top commander of Lashkar Anish alias Chhota Sultan. Anish was a Pakistani terrorist who was carrying out terrorist activities in Sopore Jangir and Bandipora from 2018.

The operation has been carried out by a joint team of Baramulla police, Army 52-RR (Rashtriya Rifles) and CRPF. The security forces were reported to have been hiding militants in Salosa in the Creri area of Baramulla. Based on this information, a joint team of security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. In the meantime, the militants started targeting the security forces.

Thereafter, the joint team of security forces launched retaliation. In retaliation, security forces have succeeded in killing a terrorist. However, the slain terrorist has not yet been identified. The encounter is currently underway.
