The Home Ministry has decided to recall about 10,000 jawans of 100 companies of paramilitary forces from Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. According to reports, the Ministry of Home Affairs took this decision after reviewing the deployment of Central Armed Police Force (CAPFs). Talking to pti, a senior official said that a total of 100 CAPF companies have been ordered to be recalled immediately. He said all these Jawans were deployed there after the cancellation of article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir last year. As per the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, a total of 40 companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and 20-20 companies of Central Industrial Security Force, BORDER Security Force and Sashastra Seema Bal have been withdrawn.

The Home Ministry has issued an order to recall 100 companies after a high level meeting with officers of security agencies deployed in Jammu and Kashmir, officers of CENTRAL Reserve Police forces and intelligence agency officials. It may be recalled that after repealing article 370, these Jawans were deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. But now, when the situation is normal, the Home Ministry is gradually reducing the deployment of additional Jawans.
