IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – 475 Vacancies in Southern Region
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune “Global 500” company, has released the official notification for the engagement of Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The vacancies are available across various disciplines at multiple locations in the Southern States of India – Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online from 08 August 2025 through the NAPS/NATS portal. The apprenticeship training duration will be 12 months, with stipend and benefits as per the Apprenticeship Rules.

- Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Trade Apprentice: Matric + 2 years full-time ITI in relevant trades (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, etc.) recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.).
- Graduate Apprentice: Full-time graduate degree (B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Note: Higher qualifications like B.E./MBA/MCA/CA/LLB are not eligible.
- Experience:
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship or job experience of 1 year or more are not eligible.
- Age Limit (as on 31-08-2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age relaxation as per rules:
- SC/ST: +5 Years
- OBC (NCL): +3 Years
- PwBD: +10 Years (up to 15 years for SC/ST)
- Stipend
- Trade Apprentice: As per Apprenticeship Act (Full amount paid by IOCL).
- Technician & Graduate Apprentice: 50% from BOAT + 50% + ₹2500/month from IOCL.
- Stipend is directly transferred to Aadhaar-seeded DBT-enabled bank accounts.
- No Application Fee for any category.

Selection Process
- Selection is purely based on merit, calculated from marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
