In mango crop per graft maximum Rs. 100/- or the actual expenditure per article whichever is less, a maximum of Rs. 0.40 lakh per hectare will be available as assistance. 50% of the cost of planting material of other horticultural crops in the inter-crop in the first year subject to a maximum of Rs. 0.10 lakhs per hectare whichever is lower will be eligible for assistance. • In guava crop per graft/ tissue seedling maximum Rs. 80/- or the actual expenditure per graft/ tissue seedling whichever is less maximum Rs. 0.44 lakh per hectare will be available as assistance
Assistance will be available considering at least 400 grafts per hectare for mango fruit crop and at least 555 grafts/tsu seedlings for guava fruit crop. • Planting material for cuttings will have to be procured by NHB from Accreditation/Agricultural University/Horticulture department nurseries. • Tissue culture planting material (seedlings) should be procured from DBT approved/accredited tissue lab, GNFC, GSFC, tissue lab of Krishi University etc. Govt. • All other expenses related to plantation under this scheme shall be borne by the applicant.
