Job description and salary

  • Post : Junior Court Attendant (Cooking Knowledge)
  • Number of Vacancies : 80 (Number of vacancies may increase or decrease)
  • Pay Level : Level 3 of Pay Matrix
  • Basic Salary : Rs. 21,700/- per month
  • Approximate Gross Salary : Rs. 46,210/- per month (including HRA and other allowances)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this post, candidates must satisfy the following criteria till August 1, 2024:

Educational Qualification 

  • Must have passed 10th Class (Tenth) from any Board/Institution recognized by Govt.
  • Must have at least one year full time Diploma in Cooking or Culinary Arts from a recognized institution.
  • Note : Ex-Servicemen candidates without Full Time Diploma in Cooking or Catering are eligible to apply provided they have Trade/Competency Certificate in Cooking or Catering from Competent Authority.

Experience 

At least three years cooking experience in a reputed hotel, restaurant, government department or undertaking.

Age Limit 

  • Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age as on August 1, 2024.
  • Age for SC/ST/OBC, physically challenged persons, ex-servicemen, widows, divorced women, judicially separated women (not remarried) and dependents of freedom fighters.

Selection process

The selection process for Junior Court Attendant (Cooking Knowledge) will consist of the following stages:

  • Written Examination (Objective Type Questions):
  • General Knowledge (30 Marks)
  • Culinary Arts (70 Marks)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60% in each section

Practical Trade Skill Test in Cooking 

  • Total Marks: 70

Interview 

  • Total Marks: 30
  • Total Marks : 200
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks : 60%
