The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the state. According to which there will be rain in the entire state for 4 days. Especially Saurashtra will still be covered with clouds, in which Junagadh, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot, Bhavnagar are predicted to receive the highest rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rains may also occur in South and North Gujarat. Heavy rain is predicted in Valsad, Daman, Dadar Nagar Haveli. Also, there is a possibility of wind blowing at a speed of 40 kmph in the coastal areas. Fishermen were instructed not to plow the sea for 4 days.

Gujarat will have rainy weather for the next 4 days. 2 out of the next 4 days will receive heavy to very heavy rains. There will be heavy rainfall for 2 days, after which the rainfall will decrease. After two days there will be light to moderate rain in most parts of Gujarat. Heavy to very heavy rain is predicted in Devbhoomi Dwarka today.

Orange alert in these districts

A Red Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in Dwarka today. While orange alert has been declared in Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Daman, Dadranagar Haveli. While yellow alert has been announced in Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Aravalli, Bhavnagar Kutch, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Dahod.
2 days of heavy rain forecast
Junagadh, Somnath, Rajkot, Porbandar, Bhavnagar, Surat, Bharuch, Tapi, Dang, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha may experience heavy rain today (July 22). Apart from this, there will be heavy rain in Valsad and Navsari today. Heavy to moderate rain is also forecast in Ahmedabad.
Ambalal Patel has also predicted rain
According to Ambalal Patel, the second system will be activated in the Bay of Bengal on July 24. Due to which there may be rain again in Gujarat from 27th to 29th July. The Narmada river is likely to flood following heavy rains. Also, Sardar Sarovar Dam is likely to overflow. The water level of Ukai Dam may also rise due to heavy rains.
