In order to avoid any kind of trouble for the ration card holders, the Food Department has made available the facility to link the ration card with the Aadhaar card online. But most of the ration card holders are not aware of the online linking process. So here we are telling step by step easy way how to link an Aadhaar card with a ration card online. Come on, let’s start.
Step 1 Open the website of the Food Department
To link the Aadhaar card with the ration card, first of all, open the website of the Food Department. For this, search by writing food.wb.gov.in in the Google search box or choose the direct link given here. Step 2 Select Link Aadhaar with Ration Card
After opening the website of the Food Department, a list of various services related to ration cards will appear on the screen. We have to link aadhaar with our ration card so select link aadhaar with ration card option.
Step -3 Enter the Ration Card Number
Now first select the category of your ration card. Then enter your ration card number. After entering both details, select the search button as we have mentioned in the screenshot.
Step-4 Select the Link Aadhaar and Mobile Number
After this, the details of the ration holder like – name, head name, and Aadhaar number link status will appear on the screen. Select the Link of the Ration Card with Aadhaar, and select the Link Aadhaar and Mobile Number option.
Step -5 Enter your Aadhaar number
Now enter your Aadhaar card number in the given box. Then select the Send OTP button as we have mentioned in the screenshot.
Then the verification code will be received on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card. Enter this OTP code in the specified box and select the Do-eKYC button.

Step -7 Link Aadhaar Card with Ration Card
After this, in the next step, the details of your Aadhaar card will appear on the screen. Go through these details carefully. Now select the Verify & Save button to link Aadhaar Card with Ration Card.
