Who is eligible under “MA Vatsalya” Yojana? (Maa Card Hospital List 2020 )

A maximum sum assured of Rs 3 Lakhs provided to up to 5 family members on a family floater basis MA card holders can get a benefit of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs for organ transplant procedures of the kidney, liver and pancreas. Knee and hip replacement is also covered with a maximum of Rs. 40,000 for one procedure.

A total of 698 procedures including cardiovascular, renal, neurological and neonatal diseases as well as burns, cancer among others are covered.

The beneficiary is entitled to Rs. 300/ towards transportation charges every time he or she avails treatment at a hospital.

Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana - Exclusions

No coverage is provided for cosmetic treatments and non-emergency procedures to those holding a MA amrutam card.

Enrollment process for Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana

To get a MA amrutam card, a family member needs to approach a kiosk at the Taluka or civic center in their area. Mobile kiosks are also available at local level. A list of families which fall under the poverty line and have an annual income below Rs. 4 Lakhs is used as reference during the enrolment process.

Biometrics such as fingerprint and iris scan and photograph of the members are captured. An application form in Gujarati also needs to be filled along with submission of necessary documents. Once the details are verified, the MA amrutam card is given to the beneficiaries.
