Security forces find major breakthrough, two terror hideouts demolished, ammunition recovered

A joint team of security forces has busted two terror hideouts at Badu, Barso in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. A large quantity of ammunition as well as other objectionable material have been recovered from these Lashkar terrorist hideouts. A joint team of army's 50-RR (Rashtriya Rifles), CRPF Battalion-130, and Avantipora police have carried out a successful operation.

Tell us that the police had received information that the Lashkar terrorists were hiding in the Badu, Barso forest area of Avantipora. Based on this information, army's 50-RR, CRPF Battalion-130, and Avantipora police launched a search operation in the area on Wednesday night.
In the search operation, security forces found two Lashkar terror hideouts on Thursday, which have been destroyed. 1918 cartridges of AK-47 rifle, two grenades, one UGBL thrower, four UGBL, ammonium nitrate and other objectionable elements have also been recovered from the terror hideouts. With this, 5400 rupees (Indian currency), utensils, gas stove, gas cylinders, other food items have also been recovered.
