First corona case Found in Vaishno Devi Yatra, 170 devotees visit Vaishno Devi temple

The first corona infection has come to the fore on the second day of the yatra which began five months after the world famous pilgrimage centre Mata Vaishno Devi. A female devotee was found corona infected. While eight personnel of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and one woman police personnel have also been found infected in the investigation. All have been referred to trikuta Bhawan near interstate bus station at Katra and isolation ward at rest House of railways.

It is noteworthy that the priest, his wife, two children and chef Corona were found infected on the building last Saturday. The health department has been taking RT-PCR test samples of board and police personnel in the building since last week. According to information, corona infected Women Special Police Officer (SPO) is presently deployed at 15 Battalion Jammu of Reserve Police of India (IRP). He reached his home in Ramnagar, Udhampur, for the views of Mother Vaishno Devi. He examined the Rapid Test Centre on the vision, wherein his report was found positive.

The test of all devotees visiting the yatra is mandatory. The administration has set up rapid examination centres at the entrance and Katra helipad. Where continuous screening of devotees is being sampled. Women devotees have been sent to isolation wards built at the rest house of the railways at Katada. Eight personnel of the assistant wing of the board posted in the building and a woman policeman were also found infected in the investigation. They were examined three days ago. The ambulance of the board was brought to Katra. The board administration is conducting test sampling of all its personnel. The board administration has become more vigilant after the first corona case came up in the yatra.
