Support Price (MSP 2026-27)
- Agriculture Minister Shri Jitubhai Vaghani stated that under the Government of India – Prime Minister Annadata Income Protection Mission (PSS Procurement System), gram and mustard crops will be purchased at Minimum Support Price in Gujarat.
- Gram and rye will be purchased at support price in the state. Farmers will be able to register online from February 13 to March 5. Agriculture Minister Jitubhai Vaghani said that in order to ensure that the farmers of the state get affordable prices for their produce as well as financial protection, the government, under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, has planned to purchase gram and rye at support prices for the year 2026-27.
- Giving further information, the Minister said that under the Government of India's Prime Minister Annadata Ay Sanskar Abhiyan, procurement of gram and rye crops will be carried out in Gujarat at support prices under PSS. Sufficient quantities will be purchased from farmers keeping in mind the total area sown and production and advance planning will also be done by the state government for this.
